Powai Action Forum has urged MMRDA to reassess the proposed Global Capability Centre project, citing concerns over traffic, road capacity, emergency access and civic infrastructure. Residents submitted a petition with over 2,000 signatures and also raised the issue of pending sub-leases for housing societies under the Powai Area Development Scheme.
