Two Class XII students were electrocuted after stepping into rainwater under LP Bridge on the Sion–Panvel Highway in Nerul on Wednesday. The water is suspected to have become electrically charged due to a damaged streetlight cable. Both students were rescued by a traffic officer and autorickshaw driver and are now stable after treatment at a private hospital.
