The BMC has sought approval for an additional Rs 21.03 crore for Phase IV of the Mithi River Rejuvenation project after the GST rate increased from 12% to 18%, raising the project cost to Rs 625.34 crore. The sewage tunnel project, now 96.67% complete, aims to divert untreated sewage to the proposed Dharavi STP.
