Vihar Lake became the first of Mumbai's seven drinking water reservoirs to overflow this monsoon after heavy rainfall. Despite improving water storage, the BMC said the 10% water cut will continue until all seven lakes overflow and authorities are satisfied that adequate water will be available until the next monsoon.
