Zutaten:
- 2 packages (10 oz each frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix or crushed buttery crackers
Arbeitsschritte:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Place the drained spinach in a large mixing bowl. Add the cream cheese, melted butter, onion, eggs, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
- Spread the spinach mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Add the stuffing mix or cracker crumbs for a crunchy topping.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden-brown top.
- Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
