Mumbai-Pune Missing Link Road Reopens After 19 Hours; MSRDC Restores Traffic Following Safety Checks
Traffic on the Pune-Mumbai Connecting Link Road of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway's Missing Link project resumed at 10.10 pm on Monday, nearly 19 hours after a rain-triggered landslide near Tunnel 2 forced its closure. MSRDC reopened the route only after clearing debris and completing safety inspections. Officials said the tunnel was undamaged, while IIT Bombay will reassess the affected slope.
