Virar residents and tribal citizens staged a road dharna on Monday after police stopped their protest march against the Revenue Department's demolition drive in Arnala, the report said. Led by the Lal Bawta party, protesters were heading to MLA Rajan Naik's residence, but were intercepted near Nala Macchi Market to prevent law-and-order issues.
