A major landslide triggered by heavy rain blocked the Mumbai-Nashik Highway at Kasara Ghat on Tuesday, bringing traffic to a halt. The Shahapur Disaster Management Team, along with police and highway officials, cleared the debris and reopened the road within an hour. Authorities have advised motorists to remain cautious as rainfall continues.
