A total of 9.56 crore workdays of rural employment were lost during July-August this year following the transition from the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act (VB-G RAM G Act), claimed the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM).
