The first 20 of Mumbai’s 238 planned AC local rakes are expected by December 2027, with the remaining 218 to get cushioned seats, better charging, upgraded HVAC, infotainment screens and higher power capacity. The full order, split among ICF, RCF and MCF, is targeted for completion by 2030.
