Mumbai Water Supply: Reservoir Stock Rises By 13,661 ML, BMC Mulls Additional 5 Per Cent Water Cut
Heavy rainfall in Thane and Nashik catchment areas has added 13,661 ML to Mumbai's reservoirs, taking total storage to 1.17 lakh ML or 8.12% of capacity. Despite the improvement, the BMC is considering an additional 5% water cut as current reserves are sufficient only until August 20 if inflows do not improve.
