1st OCT 2016 The Crims are sounding powerful and very much present on their penultimate night of the tour and the group’s final evening in dear old Stockholm. Their ability to take two very contrasting pieces from utterly different eras, such as the musical airbursts of Level Five and Epitaph’s apocalyptic warmings, and have them somehow sound like natural bedfellows is part of this incarnation’s magic, more than justifying their guiding ethos of ‘new music - whenever it was composed.’ However, here and there, it’s possible to discern some tiredness creeping into the performance later in the set, with the appearance of one or two clams crimsonique, such as on The ConstruKction Of Light, never the easiest item in the repertoire. Regardless of such incidental indiscretions, the team run storming versions of The Letters, The Talking Drum, LTIA Pt2, and Starless to ecstatic applause. Flac 24/48
