In Mumbai, Bombay Gymkhana marked its 151st Founders’ Day on June 19 with celebrations featuring the Indian Naval Band, a ceremonial parade and the traditional Bombay Light Horse Bell ringing. Veteran journalist Khalid A H Ansari performed the ritual, followed by flag hoisting by President Sanjiv Saran Mehra, cake cutting and a members’ breakfast celebrating the club’s legacy and heritage.
