A Royal Navy Captain, Andrew Norgate is a senior officer in the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence with extensive global operational and staff experience at sea and ashore, including counter-piracy operations off Somalia and maritime operations in the South Atlantic. He has held senior roles in UK defense diplomacy and Indo-Pacific strategy, including within Strategic Command and the Defence Attaché and Loan Service, and is currently assigned as Defence Attaché to Japan.
