The Sassoon Dock Fishing Port Rescue Action Committee has sought Cabinet Minister Nitish Rane’s intervention to protect fishermen, traders and workers dependent on Mumbai’s century-old fishing hub. The committee raised concerns over godown evictions, delayed infrastructure work and diesel costs.
