Donald Trump faces a blunt question over the cost of the Iran war — and responds with a forceful defense of the price paid to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.During his remarks, Trump references a figure of $25 billion while attacking criticism of the Iran operation, before arguing that allowing Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon would carry a vastly greater price.“You want to say cost? Let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” Trump says, adding: “You’ll see costs a thousand times that amount.”
