Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova has launched a fierce attack on the West, accusing the EU and NATO of deliberately fueling “Russophobia” and using anti-Russia sentiment to justify massive spending on Ukraine and a growing European defence industry. Zakharova further slammed Germany’s leadership, the EU’s stance on Russia and the West’s accusations against Moscow. Her explosive remarks come as tensions between Russia and NATO continue to rise, with Moscow warning that growing military preparations could trigger a dangerous confrontation.
