No SPS-Promoted IPS Officer To Hold IG Post Till December In MP
For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, no IPS officer promoted from the State Police Service will hold the IG rank from September 1 to December 31, 2026. The situation follows retirements of senior SPS-promoted officers, with Mithilesh Kumar Shukla retiring on August 30. Fresh promotions are expected in January 2027.
