Two women travelling on the Mahalaxmi Express were robbed of their gold necklaces around 2.30 am after the train stopped between Lonand and Salpa stations. Railway police suspect signal tampering and have registered an FIR. Investigators are examining habitual offenders and possible vehicle movements near the spot.
