Police prevented the proposed Varaha March in Dhar amid tight security and detained more than 50 Hindu organisation activists. Around 800 police personnel were deployed across the city as Section 163 remained in force. Permission for a vehicle rally sought by the Muslim community was also cancelled. Senior police and administrative officials monitored the situation.
