The landscape of Russian crude prices for Indian refiners has seen considerable volatility influenced by the Iran war. Initially, discounts transformed into premiums amid escalating supply uncertainties. However, an influx of Russian cargoes enabled refiners to boost imports significantly in March. As supply concerns eased and global availability improved, these premiums were eventually decreased. Yet, with renewed hostilities, supply risks and crude oil prices have escalated once more.
