Animal activist Roshan Pathak has opposed MBMC’s Rs 5,000 fine for feeding stray dogs outside 20 designated spots, calling the number inadequate for the city. MBMC veterinary officer Dr Vikram Niratle said the 20 locations are the first phase and the civic body plans to add more spots, potentially taking the number to 40.
