The Maharashtra government has directed departments to submit proposals for providing government land at a nominal rate of ₹1 for OBC welfare facilities and student development initiatives. The OBC Cabinet Sub-Committee also discussed ₹300 crore funding for Mahajyoti, hostel schemes, overseas scholarships and measures for community welfare.
