India has rejected remarks by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom. The External Affairs Ministry spokesperson called the organization biased and lacking credibility. USCIRF officials had called for sanctions against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. They also recommended that US officials avoid diplomatic courtesies for RSS leaders. India stated that such organizations have their own agendas and should be avoided.
