‘Savarna’ Samaj Marches To Raj Bhavan In Bhopal, Demands Withdrawal Of UGC Regulations
‘Savarna’ Samaj and UGC Sangharsh Samiti marched from Platinum Plaza towards Raj Bhavan in Bhopal on Saturday. In a memorandum addressed to the President, protesters sought withdrawal or amendment of UGC regulations, greater emphasis on economic criteria in reservation, and an inquiry before action under the SC/ST Act. They warned of further protests in Delhi.
