The department conducted a special inspection at the warehouse to check compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and related regulations. Officials found non-compliant labelling, misbranding and unhygienic food handling and storage conditions, besides other alleged violations of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) requirements, the department said. The warehouse was sealed.
