The Space Docking Experiment, known as SpaDex, involved two satellites launched in December 2024. The mission focused on demonstrating autonomous rendezvous and docking technologies successfully. Both SpaDex-A and SpaDex-B re-entered Earths atmosphere in October 2026 after fulfilling their objectives. These included vertical and radial docking along with undocking operations effectively completed. The Indian Space Research Organisation announced the completion of these operations following the satellites exhausting their fuel.
