SRINAGAR: Ladakh has recorded a sharp rise in tourist arrivals this year, with 4,05,085 visiting the Union Territory in the first eight months of 2026, exceeding the 3,35,872 tourists recorded for all of 2025. “In just eight months of 2026, the total tourist footfall has exceeded by 20.6% from the total tourist arrivals recorded in 2025,” a govt spokesperson said.
