Navratri Colours 2026 | 9 Navratri Colors Full List: Nine colours of Navratri and their significance
Navratri begins this Sunday, and with it comes one of the most visible traditions of the festival, wearing a different colour on each of the nine days. Sharad Navratri 2026 runs from October 11 to October 19, with Vijayadashami, or Dussehra, following on Tuesday, October 20. Each day is dedicated to one form of Goddess Durga, known as the Navadurga, and each is paired with a colour believed to reflect her qualities. In 2026, the commonly followed sequence is orange, white, red, royal blue, yellow, green, grey, purple and peacock green. Colour lists can differ across regions and communities, so treat this as the widely followed guide rather than a rule.
