The Mumbai ACB arrested MSEDCL Executive Engineer Devendra Gilurkar in Bhandup for allegedly accepting Rs 50,000 as the first instalment of a Rs 1.80 lakh bribe demand. The money was allegedly sought to clear a contractor's pending bills worth around Rs 21 lakh for government civil works.
