Central Railway has introduced a new protocol for AC locals after a cooling failure on a Titwala–CSMT service left three passengers ill on Monday. CR said trains with AC failures will stop at the next station, passengers will deboard, and rakes will be withdrawn for repairs. The Mulund incident investigation is ongoing at Kurla Carshed.
