Prithviraj Chavan Seeks Public Disclosure Of ₹35,000 Crore Nashik Kumbh Mela Project Details
Former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan demanded that the state government release the DPR for the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela, where nearly ₹35,000 crore has been sanctioned. He sought details of planned works, contractors, expenditure and procedures, saying public funds require transparency. The Kumbh is scheduled from October 31, 2026 to July 24, 2028.
