Iran has invited top BJP and Congress leaders, including party presidents Nitin Nabin and Mallikarjun Kharge, to the state funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. India will send an official delegation led by Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain. The ceremonies, beginning this week, will culminate with Khamenei's burial in Mashhad on July 9.
