Around 80 tourists from Mumbai were rescued at Zenith Waterfall in Khopoli after sudden heavy rainfall caused water levels to rise and cut off their exit routes. The visitors were stranded at two locations nearly 500 metres and one kilometre inside the site. Fire brigade, police and local volunteers conducted a three-hour operation, safely evacuating everyone without casualties.
