Western Railway launched a demolition drive between Goregaon and Malad stations on Monday to clear encroachments from nearly 1,500 square metres of railway land, officials said. The Bombay High Court-directed action has removed 26 permanent structures so far, with the cleared land marked for the proposed Harbour Line expansion project.
