The stalled Shahapur busport project has received a new completion deadline of December 2026 after former MLA Pandurang Barora raised the issue with Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik. Approved in 2017, the project remains unfinished despite construction beginning in 2018. Commuters currently rely on temporary facilities while officials work to accelerate the pending infrastructure project.
