Awaaz Foundation tested 17 firecracker brands purchased from licensed shops in Mumbai and found that some labelled as green crackers lacked QR codes or carried allegedly fake ones. The foundation has urged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to enforce firecracker restrictions and cited worsening air quality, including an AQI of 162 at Deonar.
