Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde has backed Deputy Mayor Sanjay Ghadi's request for an official bungalow and will recommend allotting a vacant civic residence in Byculla. However, BMC officials said the proposal is unlikely to be approved as the Deputy Mayor is not entitled to an official bungalow under existing legal provisions.
