The US Army recently undertook a significant military exercise addressing the critical issue of temporary burial sites for fallen troops. During the operation, personnel assessed heavy machinery capable of efficiently excavating and backfilling burial trenches. Hosted at the St. Mere Eglise Drop Zone, the drill underscored meticulous planning for mass interments, leading to revisions in existing protocols to adapt to the equipment's specifications.
