Bombay HC Acquits Man In 2013 Chembur Murder Case After 13 Years In Jail; Upholds Conviction For Destroying Evidence
The Bombay High Court acquitted a man of the 2013 Chembur murder after holding that the prosecution failed to prove an unbroken chain of circumstantial evidence. It upheld his conviction for destruction of evidence, for which he had already served the two-year sentence, and ordered his release.
