India's participation in the 2027 SAF Games in Pakistan follows a new sports ministry policy. This policy considers international sports bodies and the interests of Indian athletes. Pakistan will host the regional multi-sport event next year in April. Separately, a chargesheet was filed against seven foreign nationals for illegal entry. Their legal matters are currently proceeding as per court directions.
