The Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Flyover at Vanjarpatti Naka in Bhiwandi has developed potholes, damaged expansion joints and a deteriorated surface. BNCMC said the entire road needs overlay work after a VJTI audit estimated repairs at around ₹9 crore. Residents have raised concerns over accidents and urged urgent restoration of the flyover.
