Office-bearers of social organisation Amritsar Vikas Manch have urged the Punjab Government to immediately restore the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) service in Amritsar and fix accountability for officials allegedly responsible for its closure, claiming the move has deprived thousands of commuters of affordable public transport and caused a huge loss to the public exchequer.
