A state-of-the-art skywalk bridge having glass floor will be built at Mandi-Bharari on the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway and the tendering process for the project will be started soon, said Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar while inspecting the feasibility of the proposed site on Wednesday. He added that the aim of the project was to give a new direction to tourism activities and create local employment along with self-employment opportunities in the region. SDM Raj Kumar, District Tourism and Development Officer Rajnish Sharma, Tehsildar Bal Krishan, Block Development Officer (Sadar) and representatives of various departments accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
