The devastating floods in Nepal have damaged 35 motorable bridges, 45 suspension bridges and around 40 km of roads, severely affecting connectivity. India Today’s Sweta Singh visited one of the damaged bridges, which was swept away by the powerful waves of the Trishuli river. The scale of destruction offers a glimpse into the sheer force of the flooding, raising concerns over the danger it poses to people, animals and communities living along the river.
