A high-level Australian delegation led by MP Roy Butler visited Indore on Tuesday to study its acclaimed waste management system. The team reviewed segregation, collection, processing and Bio-CNG initiatives. Delegates praised citizen participation and scientific waste handling, saying several aspects of the Indore model could be adapted for waste management programmes in Australia.
