India's first immersive language museum, the Museum of Word, has opened at the National Library. This initiative by the Ministry of Culture celebrates India's rich linguistic heritage and its evolution. The museum showcases nearly 380 languages through interactive, technology-driven exhibits and artefacts. It aims to foster appreciation for the country's diverse oral and written traditions. Entry to this unique cultural institution remains free for all visitors until August 2026.
