Karnataka CM Shivakumar, TN CM Vijay to meet on Cauvery as Karnataka flags drought concerns - The Economic Times
Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar will meet his Tamil Nadu counterpart C Joseph Vijay on August 3. They will discuss the Cauvery water-sharing issue amid a weak monsoon and water scarcity. Shivakumar also alerted Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the state's worsening drought situation. He mentioned critically low storage levels in most major reservoirs across Karnataka.
