48 Mumbai-Thane Rail Passenger Groups Meet BJP’s Ravindra Chavan, Seek Faster Suburban Railway Expansion
Representatives of 48 rail passenger organisations from Mumbai and Thane submitted a memorandum to BJP leader Ravindra Chavan seeking improvements in suburban railway services. Their demands include faster completion of the Kalwa-Airoli link, additional railway lines, new shuttle services and modern signalling. Chavan assured the groups that he would pursue the issues with concerned authorities.
