Mumbai's Water Stock Rises To 13.9% After Heavy Rainfall Across Catchment Areas
Heavy rainfall across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region has raised water storage in the seven lakes supplying the city to 13.9%, up from 9.41% within 24 hours. The reservoirs now hold 1,90,898 million litres of water, offering relief from water shortage concerns. However, storage remains well below last year's 54% level for the same period.
